June 16, 2009 - Press Release: BioFuels Energy, LLC to Build, Own and Operate Mobile Renewable Fuel Cell Energy Project at the City of San Diego's Point Loma Water Treatment Plant.

In recent years, legislation has been enacted on both the state and federal level to promote the creation and distribution of clean, renewable energy. By incentivizing renewable, carbon-neutral energy, while penalizing those who fail to curb emissions, these laws have attempted to proactively promote the development of alternative energy markets. BioFuels Energy, LLC, through its Mobile Renewable Energy Process, is actively operating to exploit this set of market conditions.

BioFuels' mission, therefore, is to produce renewable energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, by transforming biomethane gas into Mobile Renewable Energy.
